Submission Instructions

Update June 10, 2026:
 
Please note the proposal process has been closed since March 31st and we are not accepting new proposals. If you submitted a proposal and did not receive a response, it means we were unable to move your proposal forward in the process. 
 
As we have received some inquiries, please also note, there is no appeal process to have your application re-considered.
 
We are not scheduling tours; the campus is private property so please do not self-tour if you have not received express permission to do so.
 
As we are no longer receiving proposals, the email attached to the proposal process is not being monitored. 
 
We appreciate your interest in the process for gifting Green Mountain College, and will update this page once we have finalized The Gift.

Conditions and Disclaimers

  • The Sponsoring Entity is under no obligation to select a proposal or to transfer the Property.
  • All costs incurred in preparing a proposal are the responsibility of the Respondent.
  • The Property will be conveyed subject to mutually agreed-upon terms, restrictions, or covenants.
  • This RFP does not constitute a commitment to transfer the Property.
